WHAT KIND OF HOLD?
Think control without concrete.
This isn't a rock-hard gel designed to glue every strand into place.
Our Tallow Styling Wax gives you a flexible, natural-looking hold that lets you shape and control the hair while still allowing movement.
Use a small amount for everyday styling and flyaways, or gradually build it when you want more texture and definition.
And because it doesn't set hard, you can run your hands through your hair and restyle it throughout the day.
Natural hair. Just better behaved.
WHAT’S INSIDE — AND WHY
Grass-Fed Beef Tallow
The foundation of our Styling Wax.
Tallow gives the formula its rich, workable consistency while conditioning the hair and helping create a smooth, controlled finish.
Organic Cold-Pressed Jojoba Oil
Helps soften the wax and makes it easier to work through the hair while balancing the richer tallow and beeswax.
It also helps give the finished style flexibility rather than stiffness.
Beeswax
This is where the hold comes in.
Beeswax gives the formula structure, helping add control, definition and texture without needing synthetic styling polymers.
Rosemary Essential Oil
Adds a fresh, herbaceous note to the wax and pairs beautifully with the deeper cedarwood aroma.
Cedarwood Essential Oil
Brings a warm, woody finish to the scent, balancing the rosemary and giving the Styling Wax its fresh, earthy character.
Full ingredients: Grass-Fed Beef Tallow, Organic Cold-Pressed Jojoba Oil, Beeswax, Rosemary Essential Oil & Cedarwood Essential Oil.
WHAT DOES IT SMELL LIKE?
Fresh. Woody. Earthy.
Rosemary gives the wax its fresh herbal character, while cedarwood brings a deeper, warm woody note.
No synthetic fragrance.
Just the natural aroma of the essential oils in the formula.
And once it's worked through your hair, the scent isn't designed to announce your arrival from across the room.
BEST FOR
Short styles • Medium-length hair • Texture • Definition • Flyaways • Natural-looking styles • Everyday control • Restyling throughout the day
If you're after a natural finish with flexible control rather than a hard, slicked-down look, this is where the Styling Wax shines.
HOW TO USE
Start small. Seriously.
Scoop out a small amount of Styling Wax and warm it thoroughly between your palms and fingertips until it softens.
Work through dry or slightly damp hair, starting with less than you think you need.
Style as desired.
Need more hold or definition?
Add a little more.
It's much easier to add wax than it is to explain why your head now looks like you've used half the tin.
For extra texture, concentrate a small amount through the ends of the hair.
For general control, work evenly through the hair before shaping into place.
HOW MUCH DO I NEED?
That depends on your hair length, thickness and the style you're going for, but the rule is simple:
Less first. More later.
For shorter hair, start with around a fingernail-sized amount or less.
Warm it completely between your hands before deciding whether you need more.
Because this is an oil-and-wax-based formula, using too much can make the hair feel heavier than intended.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Is it a wax, pomade or gel?
It's a wax-based styling product designed to provide flexible control and texture rather than the hard set you'd expect from a gel.
Will it make my hair crunchy?
No. It doesn't set into the hard shell-like finish associated with some styling gels.
Does it give a strong hold?
I'd describe it as a flexible, buildable hold rather than an ultra-strong fixed hold. Start with a little and build depending on your hair and desired style.
Can I restyle my hair during the day?
Yes. Because the formula remains flexible rather than setting hard, you can reshape your style with your hands as needed.
Will it make my hair greasy?
It's made from natural fats, oils and wax, so using too much can create a heavier or oilier finish. Start with a very small amount, warm it thoroughly and build only if needed.
Can I use it on longer hair?
Yes. While it's particularly useful for short-to-medium styles, small amounts can also be used through longer hair to control flyaways and add definition.
Can I use it on my beard?
The ingredients make it possible to work a small amount through facial hair for control, although I'd keep the primary positioning as a hair styling product unless you specifically want to market it as dual-purpose.
Why does the wax get harder in cold weather?
That's normal. Tallow, jojoba and beeswax respond naturally to changes in temperature. The wax may become firmer when cold and softer when warm.
Simply warm a small amount between your hands before applying.
GOOD HAIR WITHOUT THE LONG INGREDIENT LIST.
Five ingredients.
Flexible hold.
No crunchy finish.
No synthetic fragrance.
No need to overcomplicate it.
Scoop. Warm. Style. Done.
ONE BOTTLE. BEARD, HAIR 7 SKIN UNDERNEATH.
Beards get dry. Hair gets unruly. And the skin underneath often gets forgotten completely.

Work a few drops through your beard to soften coarse facial hair and condition the skin underneath, or use it through your hair and ends when they need a little extra nourishment.

FOR THE BEARD
A good beard deserves more than whatever moisturiser happens to be left on your hands.
Massage a few drops through your beard to help soften coarse facial hair, add a healthy-looking finish and make it easier to manage.
But don't stop at the hair.
Work the oil all the way through to the skin underneath, an area that's easy to neglect once a beard starts getting longer.
The result?
A beard that feels softer, looks better conditioned and is considerably nicer to run your hands through.
Your partner may also appreciate this development.
FOR THE HAIR
No beard?
No problem.
This formula doubles beautifully as a nourishing hair oil.
Warm a very small amount between your palms and smooth it through the mid-lengths and ends of dry or slightly damp hair.
Use it to tame flyaways, soften dry-looking ends or add a little extra nourishment when your hair is feeling rough.
And when we say small amount, we mean it.
This is oil. Your hair doesn't need a bath in it.
Start with less than you think you need and build from there.
WHAT’S INSIDE — AND WHY
Organic Cold-Pressed Coconut Oil
A rich conditioning oil that helps soften the beard and hair while giving the formula its smooth, easy-to-spread consistency.
Organic Cold-Pressed Jojoba Oil
A lightweight oil that balances the richer coconut oil and tallow, helping the blend spread easily through facial hair and head hair without needing a huge amount.
Grass-Fed Beef Tallow
Of course we put tallow in the beard oil.
This is Earth Child.
Tallow adds richness to the blend and helps create a nourishing oil designed for both the hair and the skin underneath.
Rosemary Essential Oil
Brings a fresh, herbaceous note to the blend and works beautifully in a hair and grooming formula.
Cedarwood Essential Oil
Adds the deeper, woody character that gives Beefy Beard Oil its earthy grooming scent.
Tea Tree Essential Oil
Rounds out the essential-oil blend with its distinctive fresh, clean aroma.

WHAT DOES IT SMELL LIKE?
Fresh. Woody. Earthy.
Rosemary brings the fresh herbal notes.
Cedarwood gives it that deeper woody character.
And tea tree adds its unmistakably clean, fresh edge.
No synthetic fragrance.
Just the natural aroma of the essential oils in the formula.
BEARD OIL OR HAIR OIL?
Both.
For beards, use it to soften and condition facial hair while working the oil into the skin underneath.
For hair, use a small amount through the mid-lengths and ends to condition, smooth and tame dry-looking strands.
Same bottle.
Different hair.
HOW TO USE — BEARD
Place a few drops into the palm of your hand.
Rub your hands together, then massage the oil through your beard, working from the roots through to the ends.
Don't forget the skin underneath.
Start with a small amount and add more depending on the length and thickness of your beard.
For best results, apply to a clean beard that's dry or slightly damp.
HOW TO USE — HAIR
Start with 1–3 drops depending on your hair length and thickness.
Warm between your palms before lightly working through the mid-lengths and ends of dry or slightly damp hair.
Concentrate on areas that feel particularly dry and avoid loading the roots with product unless that's specifically what you're after.
Fine hair?
Start with one drop.
Thick, coarse or long hair?
You may find you need a little more.
Always start small. You can add more.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Is this just for beards?
No. Despite the Beefy Beard name, the oil can also be used through the hair, particularly the mid-lengths and ends.
Will it make my beard greasy?
It can if you use too much. The formula contains natural oils and tallow, so start with only a few drops and build according to your beard length and thickness.
Can I use it on the skin underneath my beard?
Yes. When applying, massage the oil through the beard and down to the skin underneath rather than coating only the surface of the hair.
Can women use it as a hair oil?
Absolutely. Hair doesn't particularly care what the bottle says.
Use a small amount through the mid-lengths and ends as you would any nourishing hair oil.
Can I use it on my scalp?
You can use the product sparingly as part of a scalp/hair oil routine, but because it's a rich oil blend, we'd recommend starting with a very small amount.
Can I use it as a pre-wash hair oil?
Yes. Apply a small amount through the hair before washing, leave it in for your preferred amount of time, then shampoo thoroughly. You may need to shampoo twice depending on how much you've applied and your hair type.
Does it contain synthetic fragrance?
No. The aroma comes from rosemary, cedarwood and tea tree essential oils.
Why can the consistency change when it's cold?
The formula contains coconut oil and tallow, both of which naturally respond to temperature. In cooler conditions you may notice the oil becoming cloudy, thicker or partially solidifying.
That's normal.
Warm the bottle gently between your hands or allow it to return to a warmer room temperature before use.
